Six stages

Where your money and your cargo are right now

Import trading runs in six stages, and at every one of them the client usually has no idea what is happening. Below: what we do, which documents land in your hands, and where the risk sits.

We find the factory, not a middleman

We identify the overseas company that actually manufactures the product. A new supplier is assessed on six criteria: owned production capacity, financial standing, competitive pricing, quality guarantees, location and industry reputation. Some candidates come from partners we already work with, the rest we source for the task.

You receive

  • Comparison of 3–5 suppliers
  • Price list and MOQ for each
  • Factory photos / audit report
Risk at this stageBuying from a trading company at factory prices. We verify registration and production capacity before negotiations start.

Terms fixed in writing

We agree delivery terms, price, lead times and order volumes. The foreign trade contract is signed with I-T-I-C PTE. LTD., a Singapore entity with a public registration record. Incoterms basis, quality parameters and the acceptance procedure are written in separately.

You receive

  • Contract and specification
  • Proforma invoice
  • Agreed Incoterms basis
Risk at this stageA vague specification makes a quality claim impossible later. Parameters go in as numbers.

We pay the supplier

Funds are transferred to the overseas supplier under the contract. We advise which banking channels and which currency are preferable, and how not to lose money on fees and FX spread when settling with foreign counterparties. Currency-control requirements are checked before the transfer, not after.

You receive

  • Commercial invoice
  • SWIFT payment confirmation
  • Duty and tax calculation
Risk at this stageA stuck or returned payment. The payment route is agreed before the money moves.

We ship it

The cargo moves from the country of export to the country of import. The mode is chosen for the cargo, the deadline and the budget: sea, rail, road, air or a combination. We prepare transport and permit documents and insure the cargo where it makes sense. Status on request at any point.

You receive

  • Bill of Lading / CMR / AWB
  • Packing list
  • Insurance policy (optional)
  • Tracking number
Risk at this stageBorder delays from non-tariff restrictions. Product requirements are checked before loading.

We store it

Goods are placed in the warehouse for whatever comes next: consolidating shipments, repacking, labelling, or waiting for the buyer’s order. Storage is handled around the cargo’s own requirements — temperature, fragility, labelling rules.

You receive

  • Warehouse receipt
  • Acceptance act, quantity and quality
  • Photo report of the batch
Risk at this stageShortages and wrong assortment surface after the claim window closes. Acceptance is recorded on arrival.

Goods and documents handed over

Shipment to the end buyer or distributor with the complete document set. Everything needed to book the goods in and resell them arrives as one package — no chasing individual contractors for missing certificates.

You receive

  • Complete shipping document set
  • Certificates and declarations of conformity
  • Closing documents for the transaction
Risk at this stageAn incomplete document set blocks the resale. Completeness is checked before handover.

Individual services

Or take just one leg

If your logistics is already running, we plug into a single stage.
